President Donald Trump showed his support for Xi Jinping and his struggle against Coronavirus outbreak in China. “He will be successful, especially as the weather starts to warm & the virus hopefully becomes weaker and then gone. Great discipline is taking place in China, as President Xi strongly leads what will be a very successful operation. We are working closely with China to help!”
How the Coronavirus outbreak started
On 31 December 2019, the World Health Organization’s office in China heard the first reports of a previously unknown virus behind a number of cases of pneumonia in Wuhan, a city in eastern China with more than 11 million inhabitants. The Chinese government has responded to the outbreak by quarantining Wuhan and nearby cities under a de-facto quarantine covering about 50 million people in Hubei. The virus has infected more than 31,150 people in mainland China and at least 600 people have died from the virus. Although an initial analysis of the virus suggested that it was similar to the coronavirus seen in snakes, it now seems more likely to originate from bats. A team of virologists at the Wuhan Institute for Virology released a detailed paper showing that the new coronaviruses’ genetic makeup is 96 percent identical to that of a coronavirus found in bats.
WHO designated the coronavirus as a “Public Health Emergency of International Importance”
On 30 January, the WHO designated the coronavirus as a “Public Health Emergency of International Importance” (PHEIC), indicating the need for international action to contain the outbreak. Only five other PHEIC notifications have been made in the last decade. Outside China, there have been 216 reported cases of corona infections from 24 other countries, the coronavirus has reached Japan, USA, Canada, Germany, France, Belgium, Australia, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Finland, and the United Arab Emirates. Russia has closed it’s long border with China.
Diamond Princess Situation

More than thirty tests have been carried out and ten were positive, according to the Japanese Minister of Health Katsunobu Kato.
