Trump Gives Victory Speech After Being Acquitted By The Senate: ‘Evil Attempt To Dispose of Me Has Failed’

President Trump gave his victory speech in the White House on Thursday, after being acquitted by the Senate on Wednesday. The President entered the room and held up a copy of The Washington Post with the banner headline, “Trump Acquitted.”

The whole impeachment trial was ‘evil, corrupt, it was dirty cops, there were leakers, liars — it should never have happened,’ the President said. He also said that this was ‘not a press conference, not even a normal speech. This is a celebration.’ We’ve been through hell because we hadn’t done anything wrong, but in the end, everything worked out fine.’

“I’ve done things wrong in my life, I admit that. But look, this is the end result,’ continued Trump, who then put up a copy of The Washington Post, with the headline ‘Trump acquitted’. “This is the only positive article they’ve ever written about me.” Trump called his impeachment as a “war,” accused Dems of treating him “unbelievably unfairly,” and blamed “dirty” intelligence officials, including former FBI Director James Comey, for the way he was treated.

“If this happened to President Obama, a lot of people would have been in jail for a long time already, many, many years,” Trump added.
