On Tuesday, the House of Representatives introduced two articles of impeachment against President Trump. The President calls the two Democrat charges against him “ridiculous.” He also reiterates that “this as a ”WITCH HUNT!”..
The President is charged with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The so-called articles of impeachment are the result of months of research into the possible deposition of the President. In a reaction to Jerry Nadler, chairman of the House of Representatives, President Trump wrote on Twitter that his claims are, “ridiculous, and he knows it’s not true.”
President Trump also tweeted: ¨To Impeach a President who has proven through results, including producing perhaps the strongest economy in our country’s history, to have one of the most successful presidencies ever, and most importantly, who has done NOTHING wrong, is sheer Political Madness!¨
White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham called the impeachment articles a “partisan, gratuitous, and pathetic attempt to overthrow the Trump Administration and the results of the 2016 election.” Later this week, the House of Representatives will vote on the charges. This will probably happen on Thursday.
